Hosted by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, the sixth-annual Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival will take place September 2-4, 2011, at Grand Park at Market Common in Myrtle Beach. Highlights of this family-friendly festival will include free live entertainment, great barbeque, three cooking events (Anything Goes on Friday, Official S.C. Barbeque Championship and Kansas City Barbeque Society Cook-off on Saturday), beer and wine garden, wake board demonstrations, free boat rides and more. Attendees can sample barbeque from all competing teams on Saturday beginning at 12 PM by purchasing a $10 wristband (kids 10 and under can sample for free).
